One of my goals was to find some healthier habits to replace shopping. Honestly, this was one of the lowest priorities for me and I didn’t think I’d actually tackle it this soon. But my heart and mind were ready to be inspired by the success story of a stranger. It was the right time, right now.
I’ve been working out regularly for five weeks and don’t see myself stopping. This is now a lifestyle change, not just a habit. Instead of trying to find time to squeeze in a trip to the mall or TJ Maxx, I’m making time for the gym or my treadmill at home. I can’t believe I’m really writing this! That those are my words and that they are true!
And yes, if you see me on the treadmill at the gym, I am indeed doing the arms-in-the-air-victory-stance after each running interval that I do. Because I am amazed and happy and proud that I got through it. Through that interval, and through the lazy uninspired haze that was my life for the past few years.
YEAH!!
What an inspiration to the other people at the gym!
What excellent progress! So happy to hear that working out at the gym is now part of your healthier lifestyle.
