The Big 3-0.

It’s not a birthday, but it is worth celebrating: I’ve lost 30 pounds! This is what I’ve been working on since January, and why I’ve been slacking with this blog. I love everything about this “new” me. I’m disciplined, awake, alive, eating well, and getting strong.

I’m glad to have hit this weight milestone, but the scale is not my focus. Strength is what I care about, and with strength gains, I might not see any more scale activity. My next celebration will be something like being able to bench press my husband!
